ANALYSIS OF THE WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF..................
Background: Hospital produces most clinical wastewater which is the source of potential water pollution. This is due to high quantity of organic compounds and pathogenic micro-organism which become the source of community disease surrounding the hospital environment including the employees who handle the waste.
Objective: The aim of this study was to know the wastewater treatment management system in ......based on the regulations and best practices that have been used.
Method: This was a descriptive study with qualitative approach. Primary data was obtained by an in depth interview and observation. The Secondary data was obtained from hospital’s document related to this study.
Result: The results only ... of implementation of the wastewater treatment management system was conducted. Human Resources and supervision of the entire unit in WWTP was not optimal yet. Evaluation on wastewater effluent on radiology and bacterial content was not done properly. The amount of wastewater being treated is less than the volume being produced due to limited capacity of the WWTP. Wastewater quality in the treatment process in WWTP activity fulfill for chemical test of wastewater quality standards.
